About YRM

YRM began in around 2009 aiming to promote links between graduate mathematician communities at universities across the UK, and facilitate workshops and social events for young mathematicians. Since then, it has become an annual conference bringing together communities of PhD students, postdocs, and other young researchers from across the UK and abroad, in all areas of mathematics. A list of past YRMs can be found here.

As always, there will be a mixture of invited speakers, workshops, and contributed talks from a number of different topics within mathematics and related industry, as well as opportunities to meet and socialise with peers. We want YRM 2018 to be an opportunity to learn mathematics whether similar or totally different to your topic, to see what maths is going on out there in the wider world, and ultimately to meet and socialise with other mathematicians at a similar stage in their career.  We really hope you come. And bring your friends!
